The exercise involved multiple agencies, including the Pecos County Sheriff's Office, Fort Stockton Police Department, Texas DPS, and U.S. Border Patrol. Sheriff Perkins emphasized the drill's importance, stating, "It's crucial to maintain awareness and preparedness as the safety of our children is paramount."
