Person of Interest Identified in Midland County Homicide Case

Midland County law enforcement has identified a person of interest in connection with a homicide that occurred on May 12. Surveillance footage, reviewed by Midland Crime Stoppers, shows a white Ford Expedition near the scene where deputies discovered a deceased male with a suspected gunshot wound.


The incident took place between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on the 10,000 block of West I-20. Deputies responding to an unknown medical call found the victim outside his 18-wheeler. The case is being treated as a homicide, and the body has been sent for an autopsy.


Authorities have not yet released further details but continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. "We are actively pursuing leads and appreciate the community's support in this matter," said a spokesperson from the Midland County Sheriff's Office.
