MPD: HIT-AND-RUN TAKES PLACE IN DOWNTOWN MIDLAND

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Police responded at 12:34 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, to a pedestrian collision in the 500 block of West Wall Street.

MPD reported that witnesses reported an SUV was traveling eastbound in the outside lane when it “swerved” and “struck” the pedestrian. The SUV was last seen traveling east from the location, according to MPD.

The pedestrian “was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital where he was listed with life threatening injuries,” police reported.

Next of kin has not been notified. The investigation is on-going.
